A 75th minute equaliser from David Healy – his first for the club – salvaged a valuable and hard-earned draw for Ipswich Town. Roy Keane, who for once resisted the temptation to make changes described it as a “positive point” as fans now look forward to football returning to Portman Road on Saturday.

Carlos Edwards’ first goal of the season earned Ipswich Town a vital three points over fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday. “Carlos has been disappointed that he has not scored more goals for us but hopefully that goal will give him a boost,” was Roy Keane’s post-match assessment of the Trinidadian.
